The IT Administrator configures, manages, and maintains Ready Systems’ technological infrastructure, ensuring that computer systems, servers, and networks operate securely and efficiently to support business productivity. This role is hands-on ownership of network and cybersecurity management, infrastructure projects, and technology implementation.

Key Responsibilities
1. Network & Cybersecurity Management
- Monitor, maintain, and secure the corporate network; actively participate in IT security monitoring, mitigation, and compliance audits.
- Manage and maintain Active Directory and related core network services (GPO, DNS, DHCP) alongside Google Workspace Admin Console and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Configure, support, and troubleshoot essential networking components including firewalls, switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points, and email filter servers.
- Maintain oversight of local/web servers, virtualizations, general website hosting environments, and Content Management Systems (CMS).
- Implement security patches and monitor network performance to protect company data against unauthorized access or cyber threats.
2. Hardware Troubleshooting & Support
- Install, configure, test, maintain, and repair office computer hardware, corporate laptops, operating systems, and local software applications.
- Provide swift troubleshooting to resolve technical incidents for internal staff (on-site or remotely), including desktops, mobile devices, corporate cells, and printers.
- Fully prepare, configure, and deploy all IT equipment, system permissions, and software access profiles for arriving and departing employees.
- Track and maintain an accurate asset inventory of computer hardware, accessories, peripherals, and printer supplies, and manage related software licenses.
3. Infrastructure Projects & Technology Implementation
- Assist in the planning, testing, deployment, and documentation of new hardware systems, software rollouts, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Coordinate specialized initiatives, project rollouts, and planned system maintenance alongside external vendors and IT consultants.
- Actively assist in server room setups, network cabling, infrastructure organization, and office tech relocations.
- Perform routine system backups and ensure disaster recovery procedures are tested and fully operational.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, Computer Science, or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on IT support and systems administration experience.
- Network or Security certifications are a significant asset.
- Strong foundational knowledge of Windows client & servers, firewalls, networking fundamentals, Virtual machines, and infrastructure security.
- Deep understanding of network protocols, cloud platforms (e.g. Microsoft 365), and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
- Strong understanding of managed IT services, help desk operations, infrastructure, cloud services, cybersecurity, backups, SQL servers, and Microsoft 365.
- Ability to swiftly diagnose, isolate, and resolve complex technical issues in Hardware and Software.
- Excellent documentation habits for technical procedures, strong time-management skills, and a clear, user-focused communication style.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; comfortable explaining technical concepts in plain language.
- Ability to speak confidently with business owners, executives, and technical teams.
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or other industry-recognized credentials.
- Experience conducting client meetings, business reviews, or technology planning sessions.
Physical & Safety Tasks
All applicants must be able to perform the following tasks as part of their operational responsibilities:
- Walk through the manufacturing floor and office areas during the workday.
- Stand and work for extended periods; occasional lifting of IT equipment (approx. 35–40 lbs.).
- Access server rooms, network closets, and overhead cabling, including occasional use of ladders.
- React quickly to system alerts and on-site technical incidents.
- Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) when working on the manufacturing floor.

Walk up to 5 km per day during manufacturing floor oversight and plant walkthroughs.Stand and work at heights or navigate tight operational environments during commissioning phases.React quickly to visual and auditory factory alerts.Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety footwear, safety eyewear, vests, and high-visibility gear during site visits.
