We’re Hiring – Mechanical Design Engineer
Ready Systems has an immediate opening for Mechanical Design Engineer.
A University Degree or College Diploma preferred as well as experience in the Control Systems, Automation and Robotics industry.
Requirements
You will be part of the Mechanical design / estimating department, implement standards, develop, and expand on the current library.
Mechanical Design:
- Responsible for the design of Automated Machinery, Robotic Systems, EOAT, material handling equipment
- Developing and maintaining custom and standard designs
- Developing new standards and equipment
Supporting Sales department:
- In concepting of equipment, EOAT for quotation purposes.
- Estimating mechanical, automation portion of quotations
- Securing pricing of components for the quotation process
- Supporting Sales department in onsite customer reviews and concept meetings.
Material Procurement:
- Specifying purchased and manufactured equipment from outside suppliers. (mechanical)
- Releasing order to purchasing of these material and equipment
- Ensuring times lines of purchased and manufactured equipment to me expected deliveries.
- Securing pricing of components for purchase
Project Management:
- Assist Developing timelines and schedule for projects with other departments.
- Assist in keeping timelines for projects with production and purchasing.
- Onsite customer meetings
- Working with Microsoft project and excel for scheduling.

Ready Systems was founded in 2007 and is a preferred supplier of custom automation, material handling and robotic system integration in the automotive and general industries.
Schedule/Location
- Regular full-time working hours consist of 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Determined by the departmental supervisors to meet organizational demands. Overtime maybe required on a project-to-project basis.
- Position is based out of our office in Burlington, Ontario. The position may require some traveling within Canada, US and Mexico. Valid Passport and driver license are required.
